- Check your local library! Can't find what you need? Ask your librarian for help.
- Try an Internet search. Make your search as specific as possible, to narrow down the search results – for example, if you just type in "apples", you will get thousands of results! And rely on credible sources, such as government or universities, for the most trustworthy, unbiased information.
- Need technical assistance? Contact your local Cooperative Extension Service office (check your local phonebook, in the Local Government section), or the horticulture, agriculture or food science department at the nearest land grant university.
