For over 100 years, the storage report has been vital to the industry’s marketing efforts by providing growers and shippers with the only source of monthly apple stocks and movement information for the entire country.  The USApple's Market News report also provides apple industry members with valuable marketing and industry information.

• Please report only the apples in your storage.  If you have apples in another storage, that operator should report those holdings.

• If you are storing apples for a large processor, please contact that processor to confirm they are not reporting them separately to USApple, thus double counting holdings.

• Please tell us what changes have taken place in your area, such as new storage facilities or changes in ownership.

• Please be careful not to report fresh holdings in the processing column or regular storage in controlled atmosphere (CA), and vice versa.  If apples are listed in CA at the beginning of the season, they should continue to be reported as CA, even when removed from CA for packing.

• Please provide a current e-mail address.  This helps get information to you more quickly.
